Professional experience

Among the services and specialities in which he works on a daily basis, we must highlight the recurrent labour advice he provides to companies and individuals; the attendance to court; out-of-court settlements; the submission of lawsuits, appeals and judicial reviews before the Supreme Court; and lawsuits and appeals before the contentious-administrative jurisdiction. Juan Carlos is also specialised in attending trials and dealing with incidents in the enforcement of judgements in the social and contentious-administrative fields. He also provides assistance in actions before the Public Administration (ITSS, TGSS, INSS…), in addition to performing employment and restructuring audits.

His experience in providing advice in the public sector, the pharmaceutical sector and the preparation of payrolls is thus highlighted.

Juan Carlos has been speaker in talks on “The Substantial Modification of employment conditions” [‘Modificación sustancial de las condiciones de trabajo’], “The termination of employment contracts after the labour reform of 2010” [‘La extinción de contratos de trabajo tras la reforma laboral de 2010’], “The termination of contracts and internal flexibility measures of the Royal Decree Law 3/2012” [La extinción de contratos y medidas de flexibilidad interna en el RD Ley 3/2012] and “Collective Dismissal in the Public Sector” [‘El despido colectivo en el sector público’]. He has also participated in a Round Table on the scope of the Royal Decree Law 3/2012, organised by the Malaga Bar Association.

He is a member of the Court of Appeal of the Andalusian Athletics Federation and member of the Malaga Bar Association since 2009.
